Class Experience

This class will be 30 minutes starting off with a quick icebreaker then we'll dive into a fun competition with quizzes and games. The goal is to challenge your student from the basics of "calendar time" to understanding deeper calendar concepts!

We will cover a variation of the following questions in lessons:

The Basics:
What day is it today/yesterday/tomorrow?
How many days are in the month of ____?
What day of the week is the 18th?
How many days are in a week, month, or year?
What days of the week are the weekend?
Write the date.
Can you spell the days of the week and the months of the year?

Challenge Questions:
What date will it be in two weeks?
How do you write the date in multiple ways?
What month only has 28 or 29 days?
What months have 30 days?
What months have 31 days?
What days of the week are normal business days?
What date this month is rent due if it's due the first Friday of each month?
When is the last day of this month?
What date was 3 weeks ago from today?
Look at this calendar. You have to schedule your own Outschool class. When could you schedule a class?
Is January 1, 2023, in the past, present, or future?
Before going to bed you put on your pajamas. Is this in the AM or PM?

If your child does not know an answer during our quizzes and games, they will be given guidance to get to the answer.

*We will not share birthdates per Outschool's policies.
