Class Experience
As time allows, we will discuss the calendar and season, learn about the letter and number of the week, practice phonemic awareness such as first sound, last sound, and rhyming words, and read a book for comprehension. Songs and educational chants may also be taught for the corresponding weekly topic.
I taught first grade for 4 years!
No homework is assigned, but an optional practice sheet will be provided to practice skills learned in the class.
No supplies or books are needed for this class.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
