In this fun and engaging brick building class, students will show off their creative building skills after listening to the story, "Field Trip to the Moon". I will narrate the story, "Field Trip to the Moon" followed by a brief discussion for a comprehension check. Learners will put on their engineering helmets to help them brainstorm a design to build a school bus spacecraft similar to the one in the story to take the children to Earth instead of the moon. I encourage learners to chat and share their spacecraft while building. It is very helpful when learners know how to adjust their camera to show their workspace while building. During class conversations, I will promote kindness and acceptance, allowing everyone to speak, share and listen to each other. Materials: Building bricks, baseplate (if you have one), paper, pencil I have another brick building class similar to this one called, "Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs." I also have a fun brick building class called, "Building with Bricks Creations Game."
Learning Goals
In this brick building class, learners will listen to the story, "Field Trip to the Moon" and use their engineering skills to design and build a school bus spacecraft to take the children to the earth.

Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!
I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.
I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.
I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.
Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)
NOTE: I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you are interested in one of my classes, but you don't see it listed on a day or time that you want, please find a class that is already listed when you want the class. Send me a message and I will do my best to switch the class that you want with the one that is already listed.
I look forward to helping your child have fun while learning. Have a wonderful day,
~Teacher Sharon🙂
