US Grade 1 - 3
Included in this math class are over 20 fun, interactive math practice activities. We will complete the activities and check the answers together as a class. I will adjust the pace of the lesson according to the students enrolled so learners feel comfortable and included. I originally had this class listed as third grade math, but quickly learned that some of the 6 year old math wizards were able to do the math activities with (and without) help and guidance. Activities: Double and triple digit addition and subtraction, word problems, money and making change, fact families, logic puzzles, multiplication, missing number puzzles, fractions, and seasonal practice activities. If you are interested in weekly practice, I recently started an ongoing math practice class like this one called, "Interactive Weekly Math Practice Club". You can link to it from my "next class" suggestion. I currently have a session on Tuesdays at 10 AM ET and Wednesdays at 10:15 AM. I have a request to start a new session on Fridays at 5 PM ET. Let me know if you are interested, or if a different time or day works better for you. I prefer to have at least two learners enrolled. I can start a new ongoing session if a different time or day works better for you and your learner(s). ~Teacher Sharon :-)

Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!
I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.
I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.
I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.
Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)
NOTE: I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you are interested in one of my classes, but you don't see it listed on a day or time that you want, please find a class that is already listed when you want the class. Send me a message and I will do my best to switch the class that you want with the one that is already listed.
I look forward to helping your child have fun while learning. Have a wonderful day,
~Teacher Sharon🙂
