Description

Class Experience

This is a grammar class designed to help learners excel in writing. By identifying each part of speech and how that part of speech works in a sentence, learners may construct better, more coherent, sentences in essays, formal papers, and creative writing.
I have been teaching English in both public school (English 1-4) and online for over 15 years. I have also earned a B.A in English and Culture and a M.A. in English and Literature. My degrees are available to view via the Outschool webpage.
A themed worksheet will be provided as homework. Each worksheet is designed to cover the concept learned each week.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Worksheets provided should be downloaded, printed each week after the lesson. These worksheets will be used for homework and will be checked the following week before class. Each week, the worksheets to be used for the following class will be posted directly after class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
grades for the class are available upon request. Otherwise, the progress is assessed on the honor system where learners do the homework and let the instructor know of any struggles that may need to be addressed via private message. Extra homework assignments are also available upon request.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
