Learners will get introduced to growth mindset and fixed mindset concepts through a story time and fun worksheet at the end to practice what we learned. Class structure: ☀️Ice breaker ☀️We will read a book "A Beautiful Oops" by Barney Saltzberg and discuss how mistakes can be good and can lead us to success! ☀️Learn about growth mindset concepts through fun visuals ☀️Color worksheet and practice learned concepts (worksheet provided by teacher) My aim of this class is to assist learners in fostering a mind set that will help them build resiliency when they encounter making mistakes. This will help them view challenges in a positive way and create an optimistic attitude of the world even when things get hard.

I believe resilience it is important to teach learners early on a mindset that will help them learn and build resiliency for set backs. Resiliency is important in assisting children succeed and is as important as any other subject in school and like muscles need to need to be exercised daily to grow 💪. I have been working with children for the past 20 years as a counselor, mentor, and coach. I have a masters in Clinical Mental Health and specialization with children and teenagers.
