Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
In this one-on-one class, your child will have a thoughtful and comforting space to wind down their day. This class is perfect for bedtime or near bedtime as a way to help your child find peace and calm and end their day with gratitude. We will read a calming, positive-themed story together, and then we will reflect on the day. I will help your child remember the best parts of the day so that they can end the day on a positive note. I will encourage your child to recall the good things that happened during the day and to appreciate the special people in their lives that they saw and interacted with during the day. We will also talk about things your child can look forward to in the coming days. By focusing on the positives in each day, your child will be ending their day with good feelings of gratitude, hope and optimism about the days ahead. The stories we will be reading are all calming and centered on positive themes. Some of the books featured include: Night, Night Spot (Eric Hill) Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star (Jane Cabrera) Little Owl’s Night (Divya Srinivasan) Corduroy (Don Freeman) Penguin Dreams (V.L. Walsh) A child's days are full and busy and often lack the focus to appreciate the most important yet simplest things, events, and people in their lives. Help your child to have more gratitude and appreciate the most important parts of each day with this one-on-one class.
