Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one-time class, I will read the interactive story "There's a Wocket in My Pocket!" by Dr. Seuss. We will identify rhyming words while we are reading this story, as well as talk about real and nonsense words. I will ask learners comprehension questions during and after we read this book. Each student will be given multiple times to participate during class.

After we read this story, we will make our own wockets for our pockets! We will use popsicle sticks that are colored or painted prior to class. Learners can create as many wockets as they would like to. Let's get creative!
