US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this on-going class, the students will enjoy a weekly story time about our favorite cat and the many different things that happens in his daily life. There will be a craft activity or science activity after each story. Reading aloud to younger students stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. I love getting the younger child excited each and every time I read a new story. I let them interact thru movement, sound, making predictions and having discussions about the story in general. Come along and enjoy the fun of reading and having an activity matched appropriately to each story. There will always be a supply list listed in the classroom the week before each book. * Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world. –Robert McKee, professor *Pete the Cat Snow Daze *Pete the Cat Crayons Rock *Pete the Cat Old MacDonald Had A Farm *Pete the Cat I Love My White Shoes *Pete the Cat and The Cool Caterpillar *Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons *Pete the Cat Scuba-Cat *Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses *Pete the Cat and The Treasure Map *Pete the Cat Rocking in My School Shoes *Pete the Cat and the Supercool Science Fair *Pete the Cat Firefighter Pete *Pete the Cat’s Train Trip *Pete the Cat and the Missing CupCakes *Pete the Kitty and the Unicorn’s Missing Colors *Pete the Cat Goes Camping *Pete the Cat and the Lost Tooth *Pete the Cat Pete’s Big Lunch *Pete the Cat Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star *Pete the Cat Goes to the Beach *Pete the Cat’s World Tour *Pete the Cat Secret Agent *Pete the Cat A Pet For Pete *Pete the Cat Checks Out The Library *Pete the Cat Rock On, Mom and Dad! *Pete the Cat Sir Pete The Brave *Pete the Cat Talent Show Trouble *Pete the Cat Trick or Treat ** My teaching style is organized and full of fun while being relaxed and friendly at the same time.
