Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Please join me in this one-time interactive class where we explore fall leaves and other fall things! We will start the class by reading Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert.  The Leaf Man goes where the wind blows!  He's easy to be found when you're walking outside in autumn, just look on the ground! Together we will compare the leaves, pinecones, acorns, sticks, and other fall things we found outside before class using our five senses. How do the leaves (seeds, flowers, twigs, etc.) look? What colors are they? How do they feel? We will discuss how the leaves change in fall. Then students will create their own leaf creatures! I look forward to creating some leaf creatures with your child as we explore fall. Students are welcome to take this class outside (weather permitting of course). If time allows we will sing a song about leaves. I look forward to seeing your child in my virtual classroom.
