Class Experience

In this ongoing class , the students will learn about a new type of a bird. The students will be shown a real picture of the type of bird we are talking about. The students can tell the class what they like about that bird. The students will be making a new bird art project. I will be doing the art project The students can show their bird art project to the class.
Week of March 10th : Penguins: The students will be making penguins with oil pastels and watercolour paints.
Week of March 17th  : Flaminago: The students will be making a flaminago with acrylic paints.
Week of March 24th   : Owl: The students will be making an owl with torn paper.
Week of March 31  : Peacock: The students will be making a peacock with crayons.

Parental Guidance

Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project by making sure you are not on the camera.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal  and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years. 

In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.

I have my  Diploma of College Studies in  Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.

I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones. 

My philosophy is that students' interests matter  and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator.  I believe that students learn and strive  at  their own pace.  I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led .  I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led  and engaging for each student . The students  will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
