Class Experience

In this ongoing class, the students will learn about a new type of weather. The students will be shown a picture of the type of weather we are talking about. The students can tell the class what they like about the  type of weather. The students will be making a new type of weather art project .I will be doing it with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art project to the class.
Week 1   : Sun: The students will be using oil pastels and watercolour paints for their sun art project.
Week 2 : Rainy :The students will be making a rainy picture of rain , clouds , rainbow and umbrella with crayons.
Week 3   :Cloudy :The students will be making a picture of a cloudy  scene  with an airplane and with markers.
Week 4    :Thunderstorm :The students will be making a thunderstorm with acrylic paints on canvas.
Week 5: Windy ( clouds):The students will be making a windy cloudy by making the leaves blowing all around the clouds with paintsticks.
Week 6 - partly cloudy :The students will be making a partly cloudy art project with oil pastels.

Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project by making sure you are not on the camera.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal  and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years. 

In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.

I have my  Diploma of College Studies in  Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.

I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones. 

My philosophy is that students' interests matter  and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator.  I believe that students learn and strive  at  their own pace.  I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led .  I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led  and engaging for each student . The students  will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
