In this ongoing class, the students learn about new ocean animals. The students will be shown a real picture of the ocean animal we are talking about in that class. The students can tell the class what they like about that ocean animal. The students will be making a new ocean animal art project. I will be doing the art projects with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art projects to the class. Week of November 11th : Jellyfish: The students will be making a jellyfish by using oil pastels and watercolour paints . Week of November 18th :Fish:The students will be making with markers and crayons. Week of November 25th Starfish: The students will be making a starfish with q-tips and paint . Week of December 9th - Octopus: The students will be making an octopus with paint on a canvas.

Parental Guidance
Please make sure your students are not allergic to chalk pastels ( week of Jellyfish art)
Please supervise your students when doing their art projects by ensuring you are not on the camera.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.
In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
