In this on-going class, the students will learn about a new animal that enjoys sleeping. The students will be shown a picture of that animal. The students can tell the class what they like about that animal. The students will be making a new sleeping animal art project. I will be doing it with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art project to the class. Week of September 9th : Sleeping Bear: The students will be making a sleeping bear art project in a blanket with oil pastels and watercolor paints. Week of September 16th : Sleeping Owl: The students will be making a sleeping owl by drawing PJ's with markers. Week of September 30th : Sleeping Bunny: The students will be making a sleeping bunny with acrylic paints. Week of October 7th : Sleeping Fox: The students will be making a sleeping fox with markers. Week of October 14th :Sleeping sloth: The students will be making a sleeping sloth with crayons. Week of October 21st: Sleeping cat: The students will be making a sleeping cat with markers. Week of October 28th :Sleeping dog: The students will be making a sleeping dog with crayons.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.
In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
