Some weeks we won’t have enough time in class to finish the artwork, so it may be needed to be done in their own time. Every child does art at a different pace. Some are very fast and others like to take their time.Class Experience
In this ongoing class I will teach different aspects of the the elements of art. Which include, Lines, Patterns, Shape, Color, Contrast and Emphasis, Movement and Rhythm, Value, Balance, Texture, Form, Space, Proportion, Unity and Variety. It doesn’t matter if your child is a beginner or advanced in their artwork, what they create will be on their level. They can follow along with what art I’m doing, or they can create art the way they want to. Art is an essential part of learning, using different materials is needed for development. Plus it’s relaxing and helps in so many different ways. Using these techniques helps build an artists experiences and as they learn, creations will improve and the techniques can be used throughout learning. Even if your child just comes to one class they will learn one or more of the techniques, or they can keep attending and learn many more. This is an interactive class, I will use 2 cameras and they can draw along with me. We will share our artwork with each other and they can ask questions at anytime. You’re encouraged to post your child’s finished artwork on the classroom page each week. Please note - some weeks we won’t have enough time in class to finish the artwork, so it may be needed to be done in their own time.
