Class Experience

In this one time class, we will learn a new sight word and word family. We will practice reading and writing our sight word. We then will talk about the months of the year and write our date. Students will learn the new word family that we will be blending with to make new words. Students will take turns coming up with new words inside of our word family. There will be a game at the end to help reenforce the material we covered throughout the lesson. There will be a show & tell portion at the end of class for each student to share or talk about something. I look forward to seeing your child in class!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Meggin! I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. I love teaching and have been doing so for many years. I have taught in a church setting for 10 years ages 3-18. I have taught English for over 4 years and have homeschooled as well. I love teaching interactive based classes that keep children engaged and active. I have a very energetic daughter who learns well when we are being active, singing, or doing fun experiments. These are things I will focus my classes around. I hope your child enjoys them as much as I enjoy teaching them!
