US Grade Preschool - 1
Beginner Level
Beginner Sight Words for Kindergarten and Up - Part 1. Learn beginner sight words through play while making new friends in this 4 week class. Beginner sight words can help with reading fluency and comprehension as young learners begin to read.

Learners will have time to ask questions and play games using their sight words during class time. 
During each class, learners will discuss and learn - 

- 10 Beginner sight words
- Say each word out loud
- Spell the word out loud
- Use the word in a sentence
- Match up sight words
- Play a game using the print outs provided each week

With weekly practice in class and at home, learners will build the necessary skills to identify the sight words, help with reading fluency and reading comprehension.
Learners will take turns discussing their sight words with others in class. Each learner will have their own list of sight words to work on. 

Learners should know their alphabet before taking this class. 
This class is inclusive and everyone is welcome. Learners will need to check in on camera per Outschool policy.

Recognize sight words to help improve reading fluency.

Syllabus

8 Lessons
over 4 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Introduction to Sight Words 
 Introduce the first 10 sight words and explaining the importance of sight words. Learn by listening and repeating each word. Using each word in a sentence for better understanding of the meaning.

 Read and spell each sight word while playing a match up game.

 Use each sight word in a sentence and play a bingo word game.

 Write each sight word and play a match up game.
