US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Beginner Level
Let's travel through adventures to 'SAVE' the sight words! Learners will move through a series of places....jungles, deserts, and others to read & spell sight words as the key to moving to the next place. Learners will enjoy games, an interactive classroom and the chance to learn and improve reading sight words, too. The list of sight words will be from the Dolch sight word list for Pre-Primer and Primer and FRY word lists. Learners are not required to know any sight words to attend this class. Before each class, a list of words and an introductory video will be added to the classroom for the students to review. We will learn and practice 3-5 sight words were class and they will be chosen at random. However, if your child is learning beginner sight words and they are having difficulty learning a particular set, feel free to let me know and I will try to incorporate it into our class. Downloadable materials will be provided by the teacher. The learner can bring the materials to class. We will have some fun classes that may involve colors, play foods, etc. and learners are welcome to bring along some fun props to increase engagement, attention and interaction.
