Let's Go on an African Safari workout!

In this class students will be taught 2 facts about 8 different animals that live on the African Plains(Elephants, lions, chimpanzees, flamingos, etc.). With each animal discussed we will do a workout move for 30-45 seconds.

Class Experience

Please join me for a safari on the African Plains! During this safari, I will name two fun facts about the following animals; African elephants, cheetah, wildebeest, chimpanzee, giraffe, baboon, impala, flamingo, lilac breasted roller and a lion. I highly encourage each student to tell the class one or two facts about their favorite animal that lives on the African plains (I will not call on a student if they don't raise their hand, they are not required to talk). To keep young learners better engaged and make the class more interactive, we will do a different workout move for 30-45 seconds for the 10 animals in the lesson. I have always loved animals and this is a fun way to learn a few things about animals that live far away on the African Plains. 

****Parents please be advised if there is background noise that makes it hard for other learners to hear I will mute the learner. I want it to be a positive experience for all. 

**** I require 24 hours prior to class start time notice to transfer learners to another section.

Parental Guidance

For this class please; *Have your child wear comfortable clothes and shoes. *Have a water bottle nearby. *Have an open space to complete their workout moves. *Warm up before class by stretching.

Hello! My name is Shelley. My husband and I have two kids and together we enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking, beach trips and just try to enjoy the outdoors any way we can. I graduated with a bachelor's in health science and have always had a interest in healthy living. I became an ESL online teacher in May of 2018 and have found that teaching has become another passion for me. I love getting students excited to learn new things, to see them grow is truly rewarding.  I have a special interest in teaching phonics, baking and work outs.
