Week 1Lesson 1Understanding Place Value-Students will understand the place value of digits in numbers up to the millions.Lesson 2Comparing and Rounding Numbers-Students will learn to compare, order, and round multi-digit numbers.Week 2Lesson 3Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction-Students will learn to add and subtract multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm.Lesson 4Introduction to Multi-Digit Multiplication- Students will understand and practice multi-digit multiplication: up to four digits by single digits. - Students will understand and practice multi-digit multiplication: multi-digit by double-digitWeek 3Lesson 5Introduction to Division-Students will understand and practice division with remainders.Lesson 6Geometry: Lines and Angles-Students will draw and identify lines and angles, and classify shapes by properties of their lines and angles.Week 4Lesson 7Understanding Fractions-Students will be able to identify and write fractions for parts of a whole and parts of a set, including proper fractions, improper fractions, and mixed numbers. -Students will be able to add and subtract fractions with like denominators using visual models, number lines, and the standard algorithm.Lesson 8Introduction to Decimals-Students will understand decimal notation for fractions and learn to compare and order decimals.

Throughout my career, I taught various grade levels from 3rd grade to 7th grade students. Math is one of my favorite things to teach to all levels of students.

We will be using Boom Cards as our independent practice. Students do not need an account to play as we will be using the FastPlay feature which does not gather student data. Boom Cards will provide students with instant feedback as they work on the task cards.
We will use websites and sources over the course of this camp such as Khan Academy and teacher-made sources.
