Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
In this class students will review math concepts taught in 3rd Grade in preparation for 4th Grade through games, manipulatives, and other activities. Students will have the opportunity to socialize while having fun and learning. Each class will focus on a core math concept:

1) Place Value
2) Multiplication & Division
3) Fractions (Recognizing, Comparing, & Equivalent Fractions)
4) Order of Operations
5) Converting Measurements

Students should have completed 3rd Grade or have knowledge of 3rd Grade math concepts, including adding and subtracting with carrying, multiplication up to 12, recognizing basic fractions (one half, one third, one fourth), order of operations, and measurement in centimeters, inches, and feet as well as liquid measurements in cups, pints, quarts, and gallons. Students do not need to have mastered these concepts but should have a foundation in them.

I am a homeschool parent with a background in elementary education as well as a background in math and finance.

I look forward to meeting your child!
