Service Features: Customized Lesson Plans: Each tutoring session is personalized to target your unique needs, strengths, and areas for improvement, ensuring an effective and individualized learning experience. IEP Support: Specially designed sessions to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), focusing on specific goals and accommodations outlined in their IEPs. Warm-Up Activities: Begin each session with a warm-up activity to review previous material, reinforce learning, and assess individual progress. Gamified Learning Platforms: Engage in interactive, gamified learning activities that make math fun and enhance understanding through digital platforms. Direct Instruction: Benefit from clear and focused direct instruction on key concepts, delivered through a gradual release model "I do, we do, you do". This class can be intentionally designed to support unique learning needs. I am a certified special education teacher. Please provide specific skills or goals that your learner is working towards so I can prepare targeted instruction.
Parental Guidance
We will be using Boom Cards as our independent practice. Students do not need an account to play as we will be using the FastPlay feature which does not gather student data. Boom Cards will provide students with instant feedback as they work on the task cards.
