US Grade 4
Join this class to build community in a small group while getting ready for 4th grade math! Each qualified educator brings unique gifts and talents to share with your learner, but they are all fun, energetic, and engaging. This Pod class is a review of all 3rd Grade mathematics in a short 4-week course. Learners will learn all concepts and be able to confidently move forward to 4th grade math. We will review the following concepts: - addition - subtraction - regrouping - fact families up to 12 - basic multiplication - basic division - area - perimeter - fractions Week 1 topics- Addition and subtraction with regrouping- Fact families 1-5 Week 2 topics- Fact families 6-12 Week 3 topics- Multiplication and division Week 4 topics- Area/Perimeter and basic level fractions At the end of this class, learners be prepared for 4th grade math! We will work at the pace of our learners, additional support is available for learners struggling with a specific concept.
Learning Goals
Learners will improve their ability to do 3rd grade math as well as be ready to begin 4th grade math standards.
