Do you want to prevent summer slide and ensure that your 4th grader is ready for 5th grade math next school year? Allow me to help your 4th grader get ready for 5th grade math with Mathsters Summer Camp! This 6-week course reinforces essential 4th grade math skills and builds confidence for 5th grade. Students will meet twice a week for live, engaging lessons with a certified teacher. Each session includes: 🏄🏽♀️Support from a certified teacher 🏄🏾Interactive lessons with visuals and models to explore key math topics 🏄🏾♂️Hands-on practice using an engaging, interactive platform 🏄🏽♀️Fun games to strengthen math fluency and problem-solving skills 🏄🏾Optional worksheets for additional practice Topics include multiplication, division, fractions, word problems, and more. Please be sure to review the course syllabus for content that will be covered and message me with any questions. Whether catching up or getting ahead, your child will thrive in this fun and interactive program. Long Division: 2-Digits by 1-Digit Divisor
Students will divide 2-digit numbers by a 1-digit divisor. 45 mins online live lesson

Long Division: 3-Digits by 1-Digit Divisor

This class supports diverse needs, using visuals, interactive lessons, and structured guidance. Flexible pacing, clear steps, and active engagement create an inclusive, supportive environment.
Parental Guidance
Lumio is a web-based learning platform that helps teachers engage students on any device with game-based activities, formative assessments, and student collaboration. Learners will NOT need to create an account for Lumio. Rather, an access code will be provided to students to participate in the lessons.
Gimkit and Blooket may be used during some lessons. Gimkit and Blooket are classroom game platforms where students compete by answering questions on their electronic devices. Learners will NOT need to create an account for Gimkit or Blooket. Rather, an access code will be provided to students to participate in the lessons.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should have a solid understanding of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts before joining this course.

With 17 years of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my math classes. For 14 years, I taught a variety of subjects in elementary school, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. I have developed a strong understanding of how to meet students where they are and provide the support they need to succeed, whether in one-on-one settings or in a classroom environment.
For the past 3 years, I have been teaching math online, where I have honed my skills in creating engaging, interactive lessons that are effective in a virtual setting. I am deeply committed to helping students build confidence in their math abilities and prepare for the next step in their academic journey.
My extensive experience working with children in both traditional classrooms and online learning environments has given me the ability to tailor my teaching methods to meet each student’s unique needs.
