Description

Class Experience

We will work on multisensory study of sight words based on an individualized list.  We will work on reading and writing sight words using a variety of strategies.  

We will work on decoding strategies such as looking for parts we know within a word, skipping a word and coming back, using the picture
as a clue, and exploring long and short vowel patterns such as ow, ea, oa, using word chunks to help with decoding c-old, and changing the beginnings of words to make other words in order to help...

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
