Beginner - Advanced Level
In this one-on-one art class, students can choose to draw or paint seascapes with crayons, watercolors or colored pencils pencils. We will explore the beauty of watercolor and create this lovely beach scene or sketch an object from the beach, such as a stone or a shell. I will teach how to create texture with paint and colored pencils pencils. I will demonstrate techniques of crayon resist and sketching with colored pencils also. Students will explore techniques to create beach scenes and sea animals. Students will be able to study an object or picture of the sea, and create a representation of it.
I am an artist and I have a K-12 teaching certificate. I am highly qualified as an art teacher. I am passionate about teaching art and supporting children as they explore their creativity.
Homework Offered
Students may practice as much as they like outside of class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
