Watercolor Painting Techniques With Weekly Projects Semester Class

Welcome to an exciting semester-long online watercolor painting class designed for students aged 13 and up! In this engaging course, you'll practice essential watercolor techniques that will elevate your painting skills and deepen your understanding of this beautiful medium. Each session introduces a new technique, allowing you to experiment and refine your artistry while receiving constructive feedback through self-assessments.

This class aligns with the National Core Art Standards for Visual Arts, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching learning experience. 

What to Expect:

Tailored Learning: I specialize in meeting students where they are, making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone. With small class sizes and a relaxed teaching style, I can cater my instruction to each student's unique needs, ensuring a supportive environment where everyone leaves feeling confident and inspired.

Directed Approach: Each class will focus on drawing or painting various subjects such as animals, landscapes, or nature. We’ll learn to see basic shapes, practice shading to create dimension, and explore blending and color mixing techniques that bring your artwork to life.

Creative Choices: You will have the opportunity to make individual decisions about your artwork throughout each class. Creativity is celebrated, and I encourage interaction and fun during the creative process, so you can express your unique artistic voice.

Engagement and Feedback:
At the conclusion of each class, there will be an optional sharing time, allowing for positive discussions and constructive critiques. This valuable feedback helps you better understand your work, relate to your peers, and find inspiration within the community.

Class Details:
I will utilize two cameras during class: one focused on my work area for detailed instructions and the other allowing you to showcase your creative choices.

Important Information:
⚠️ Camera Requirement: Per Outschool guidelines, students must have their camera on for visual confirmation before class begins. After confirmation, students can choose how they use their camera.
