As a former classroom teacher (grades K-6), reading specialist and Literacy coach, I would love to offer my expertise in one on one tutoring for the upper elementary student. 

With background knowledge in all subject areas, I can offer personalized instruction and resources to help your student enjoy learning, find success and improve in the areas that they might need a little more guidance in.

I especially love teaching history, math writing and reading and am accustomed to many teaching styles (classroom, homeschool, project based, classical, co-op, etc). I strive to make learning fun, engaging and interesting for students through discussion, thought provoking questions and hands on experiences.
