In this 3 part class, we will learn about, design and create fairy houses.

US Grade 3 - 6
It's the perfect time to get outside and use the world around us to create beautiful and fanciful fairy houses to display. In this one week course (which meets 3x) we will learn about fairy houses, their history and why people make them. We will come together to brainstorm ideas for our very own fairy houses and the materials we can use in nature to make them. Students will need access to paper, pencil and the safe use of a glue gun. In addition, students will be gathering supplies from home and nature to construct their fairy houses. Students should have access to things near their home like sticks, leaves, acorns, flowers and misc other supplies as needed. We will be making a list of possible supplies in class that I will share with families for inspiration during the process.
