This private tutoring reading class is designed to improve a learner's reading skills.

**Reading Strategies:  introduction of various reading strategies and techniques, including phonics, word recognition, decoding, and comprehension.

**Reading Practice:  Learning to read using a sequence of reading format that focuses on phonics and spelling sounds.  Reading texts to practice and develop fluency.

**Vocabulary Development:  expand learner vocabulary through word lists, reading exercises, and activities.

**Reading Comprehension: develop improved comprehension skills through activities and exercises.

**Spelling Practice: Using the science of reading to recognize patterns and sounds.
