Our reading time together during each class acts as an assessment as it provides learners with the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned.Certificate of Completion

US Grade Preschool - 1
Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a 10 week course that meets 5 days a week. Learners will be introduced to the letters of the alphabet using fun engaging stories and with the help of catchy sings, they will also learn letter sounds. By the end of this course, learners will be prepared to begin reading simple CVC words. following this course, I would personally recommend my course, Beginner Phonics: Let's Learn to Read. My teaching style is simple yet highly interactive, using tools such as songs, flashcards, books, games, and occasionally, slides and videos.
Learning Goals
Students will learn and master the names of all 26 letters of the alphabet.Students will learn and master the initial sounds of each letter of the alphabet.Syllabus

We will learn about the letters c, a, and t and their sounds. We will also read part one of our story, "The All Cat Club." 25 mins online live lesson

Letter S
We will learn about the letter s and its sound. We will also read part 2 of "The All Cat Club." 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Letter M
We will learn about the letter m and its sound. We will also read part 3 of "The All Cat Club." 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Letter N
We will learn about the letter n and its sound. We will also read part of of our story, "Nat's Nine Noses." 25 mins online live lesson

Students may need a pencil during class time. Any additional supplies will be posted in the classroom at least two days in advance. Access to a printer is recommended.

I have since then continued to teach and tutor privately, both in person and online. I have also taught in private schools where I have worked with teaching students to read.
