Beginner - Advanced Level
This engaging class for young learners combines science and nature study with literacy. Join me as we explore and learn all about insects and arachnids through fun engaging read-alouds. My classes are relaxed yet structured and highly interactive. I implement a wide variety of teaching methods, including lecture, discussion, read-aloud time, songs, games, and occasionally, slides and videos.

Our read alouds include a wide selection of children's books, particularly featuring several by Eric Carle. Other resources may come from Teachers Pay Teachers and other teach-created resources may be included.

I have over ten years experience teaching and tutoring learners of all ages and in a variety of subjects. I hold my TESOL certificate and have taught in both private school settings as well as through private tutoring. I also teach and tutor for other online companies in addition to Outschool. I love teaching and working with young learners, including my own little ones who I teach at home. Many of these activities I bring into my classes have first been used with my own little ones.
