Learners will analyze primary source documents and answer comprehension questions based on a primary source. These activities should not take more than one hour to completeテスト
Learners will be assessed informally in each class through verbal comprehension checks and class discussion. Each class will begin with a quick review of the activities from the previous week's class to ensure students understood the material. At the end of each unit, students will complete a Kahoot, which will act as an informal summative assessment of the unit.評価

In this 4-week course, students will learn about the rich history of Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. Each week students will learn about a new topic to help them stay focused and maximize their learning during the 50-minute class session. Students will be provided with assignments outside of class to help reinforce what they learned in class. We will follow the schedule below. Week 1: Mesopotamia (Sumer, Babylon, Phoenicians, Assyrians, Persians) Week 2: Ancient Egypt (the Old Kingdom, Egyptian Gods, Government, Pyramids) Week 3: Egyptian Middle and New Kingdom (Fall of Egypt, King Tut, Achievements) Week 4: Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt Kahoot Assessment This course is designed to be mostly a PowerPoint presentation with some videos that are relevant to the topic. Students will review what they learned in the previous lesson, then transition to the new content, and the class will end with a comprehension check to ensure students understand the new material. All students will need to have a functional camera and microphone as class discussions are an essential component of the course. Students will be provided with a guided note worksheet in a pdf format to meet each student’s needs. During the final class, students will review what they have learned by completing an interactive Kahoot game. Students do not need any prior knowledge about Mesopotamia or Ancient Egypt to get the most out of this class!
