Often Algebra can be overwhelming!  From the soling for variables, what is x? what is y, graphing, square roots, polynomials (what!?)...these concepts can be difficult to grasp the first time. Let me help! 

In this 5-day camp, learners will build and rebuild the skills needed for success with algebra.  Whether the learner has completed algebra already and needs some review or is is enrolled in algebra next term, this camp is designed to build skills, confidence, and mastery.  I help each learner gain some tips, tricks, and easy to remember methods!  

The class will be full of discussion and dynamic teaching.  Learners are encouraged to bring questions and points of confusion.  We will work as a class to bring understanding to each concept.  Two hands-on activities/labs are planned.  

Here is a brief schedule of each day.
Day 1: Problem Solving Strategies.  How to approach math problems with confidence!
Day 2: Solving Equations with One and Two Variables
Day 3: Graphing, Slopes, and Intercepts - Tips and Tricks for Success!
Day 4: Solving Systems of Equations - Tips for Quick Understanding
Day 5: Polynomials Properties - How to Crack the Code of Polynomials.  

Learners will be able to interact and collaborate ideas with classmates during the class.  Optional homework and extra practice will be given to help learners master material.
