Class Experience

Welcome!! As a mom and long time professional educator and student of family psychology, it is my great joy to provide the perfect place for student to socialize. This a student led class with a warm inviting feel, where learners can make friends when they consistently join this popular class!

We will start by defining a Zentangle. Throughout the class the purpose for this art style will be discussed. The teacher will ask students to note how they are feeling at the beginning of class. (This will be revisited at the conclusion of class.) Then the teacher will show some examples of Zentangles. The teacher will show examples of how to start a Zentangle. Students will be instructed to draw a different shape to fill with Zentangles each week or they may draw their own design. Students can follow along or make their own patterns. The teacher will guide students in recreating a particular pattern each week.
Students will interact with and inspire one another by showing their art work. The teacher will also talk about how students are feeling while working on their project.
At the end of class the teacher will talk about finishing their artwork and encourage students to continue to create more Zentangles. Lastly, the teacher will ask how students feel compared to how they felt at the beginning of the class.
This is an on-going class, so students can join at anytime and remain enrolled to share their progress.
On-going classes are a subscription :D
