Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Join this writing enhancement class to progress from basic sentences to developing a comprehensive understanding of sentence elements, structure, and types. Participants will master the art of using coordinating and subordinating conjunctions to merge independent and dependent clauses, thus creating compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences effortlessly. Interactive notebook pages provided in each lesson serve as valuable tools for learners to visualize and refer back to the combining process, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

How does this self-paced class work?
The class is self-paced with no live meetings. A recording will be posted weekly to introduce the concept, simulating a classroom experience. Learners in flexible classes can pause, rewind, and review the lesson as needed, enhancing their understanding and retention of the material.

How will learners apply what they learn?
During the recording, learners will complete a visual for their interactive notebook. After class, learners will be directed to Kahoot for fun educational activities to apply what they learned. Learners will receive feedback based off their work completed on the Kahoot activities. An account is not required for Kahoot.

What is an interactive notebook?
An interactive notebook is a learner made notebook that visualizes grammar skills in charts, flip charts, graphics, and more! After class, the interactive becomes a resource that supports all language art curriculums.
