What skills will be taught? This class covers 25 prefixes and suffixes. Each lesson includes an introduction to 3-5 word parts and their meanings. Instruction will show learners how adding the taught prefix or suffix to a word changes the meaning. Learners will be provided with 2-3 words that use each word part. Learners will be provided with a game link that will challenge their knowledge as they read words using the word parts. What is the class schedule? During the recording, learners will complete a visual for their interactive notebook. Following the recording, learners will be directed on Gimkit, Kahoot, or Blooket to for fun educational activities to apply what they learned.
