***Please note, to enroll in this class please contact me to schedule a personal time for your families**** ***After a time is arranged you will receive private listing link*** Every writer has a voice and a story to share! Through individualized instruction writers will be nurtured to grow in confidence while writing about topics of interest with friends. This ongoing class is learner-directed; prior to class the teacher will contact the families regarding specific writing goals and desired focus for the lessons. Classes will be structured with a warm up, focused writing activity, time for drafting, and the option to share writing with friends. Writers will be encouraged to continue developing work after class and will have the opportunity to send writing to the teacher for feedback between lessons. **** Class times and length are flexible and can vary from 25 minutes - 55 minutes depending on the interest of the learners enrolling (price will be adjusted accordingly). **** Once a class time and price are determined a private listing will be created to be shared with friends and family. **** A minimum of 3 learners are needed to create a semi-private class.
Learning Goals
Writers will practice the brainstorming, drafting, and revision stages of the writing process.
Writers will be guided with individualized instruction while integrating the writing traits of ideas, organization, sentence fluency, voice and word choice.
Writers will be nurtured with a love of writing.Other Details
Supply List
Writers will need a notebook dedicated to writing and a pen/pencil for each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
