Class Experience

Unleash your child’s imagination and turn them into the hero of their very own story!

In this interactive and magical class, students will collaborate with their fellow classmates to co-create an exciting, one-of-a-kind adventure—starring them! Whether they dream of being a dragon rider, space explorer, ninja librarian, or a taco-saving superhero, this class transforms their wildest ideas into a personalized story they’ll help build and read aloud.

Designed for ages 10–15, this class is perfect for kids who love stories, want to improve their reading confidence, and have creative energy bursting out of their ears.

Class Structure
Each class follows a fun, structured process that combines storytelling, creativity, reading, and collaboration:

🧠 1. Brainstorm & Character Creation (10 minutes)
We start by chatting about story themes (fantasy, mystery, sci-fi, etc.) and then students create their own unique character—complete with name, special abilities, and a few fun quirks. They’ll decide how their character looks, talks, and what kind of adventure they want to go on.

🤖 2. Co-Write the Story with ChatGPT (15 minutes)
Using ChatGPT, we build a story together in real time based on the students’ ideas. As the teacher and AI guide the plot, students help make decisions that shape the world and move the story forward. Think of it like a choose-your-own-adventure they’re actually helping write.

Each student gets a chance to add to the story and help steer the journey—no two classes will ever be the same!

📚 3. Reading & Acting Out the Story (15 minutes)
Now it’s time to bring the story to life! Students take turns reading the story aloud, practicing fluency, expression, and confidence in a low-pressure, supportive environment. Want to read in a silly voice? Go for it! Bonus points for dramatic flair.

Shy readers? No problem—we support and encourage at their own pace, and participation can be adapted for every comfort level.

✏️ 4. Wrap-Up & Creative Sharing (5 minutes)
We finish each class with time for reflection: students can draw a scene, share a cool moment from the story, or suggest what might happen next time. If desired, the story can be emailed after class so they can reread it, illustrate it, or even share it with friends and family.
