Assessment
Essay drafts will be critiqued upon submission by providing a response of strengths and suggestions of content.

Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 9
For those students who desire to exercise their creative talents and write Narrative texts, you have come to the right place. The dissemination of this course content will be delivered via using a PowerPoint Presentation. It will commence with students examining/reviewing the basic structure of the Narrative Plot Diagram.

Subsequent to the review, students will discuss one particular Narrative genre by examining the definition, characteristics, and specific literary devices that will enhance the text. Then, students will be challenged and given a related task that will be completed at their leisure. Final drafts will be type-written and submitted in a timely fashion for a critique of strengths and suggestions. This course has a duration of 10, 15 or 20-class sessions depending on how it is listed. It will list for one or two sessions per week.
