Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will review and practice approximately 20 Reading Strategies and Reading Skills during the four-week course. 
I have had more than 20 years of classroom and tutorial experience teaching Writing Skills to various age groups.  I have extensive coursework and professional development training in the academic area of Writing.  I have taught writing skills and strategies with English Language Arts Courses and with the  READ 180 program which contains a writing component.  
Students who do not complete in-person tasks will be asked to complete them at home.
This class requires the purchase of a book. TITLE - "501 Critical Reading Questions" by Learning Express (FIRST EDITION) This book can be purchased from Amazon.com for approx. $18 ISBN NUMBER: 978-1576855102 Or you may copy the link below to access the book online. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed verbally when they answer the corresponding comprehension questions after each passage.
