This is a great refresher and review course that I suggest you enroll your child in because it addresses writing strategies, writing structure and some writing devices. This course will focus on helping struggling writers gain the confidence to construct a three-paragraph Essay by reviewing some basic strategies to implement and improve writing immediately. Due to the popularity of this course, it has also become a FLEX course too. This will make it more convenient for students to take this class any time of the day. THIS IS A 5-DAY COURSE which will be available a multitude of times during each month. Construct and Respond to an Expository Essay Topic given by the teacher. DAY TWO - NARRATIVE Review Paragraph Elements (topic sentence, supporting details, and closing sentence Examine a Narrative Essay and discuss the introduction, body, and closing. Construct and Respond to a Narrative Essay Topic given by the teacher. DAY THREE - PERSUASIVE Review Paragraph Elements (topic sentence, supporting details, and closing sentence Examine a Persuasive Essay and discuss the introduction, body, and closing. Construct and Respond to a Persuasive Essay Topic given by the teacher. DAY FOUR - EXPOSITORY Review Paragraph Elements (topic sentence, supporting details, and closing sentence Examine an Expository Essay and discuss the introduction, body, and closing.
