Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Welcome to Earth! One of the most interesting, complex, beautiful places in the universe! This is the first class in a series of three!

In this flex class students will learn about one amazing geological feature on our planet. These are some of the most interesting places that most people have never heard of!

We'll talk about what makes these places unique, how they were formed, how old they are, and if they help or harm humans. Most weeks will involve geology, but there may be other topics that are included throughout the class.

We'll learn about:

Week 1: Crystal Cave, Mexico
Week 2: The Blue Hole, Belize
Weel 3: Darvaza Gas Crater, Turkmenistan
Week 4: The Eye of the Sahara

This is a flex class, so there are no live meetings. Here is what you can expect each week!

- I post a video on Monday mornings. This video has all the information that the students will learn for the week.
- As students are watching the video, they will also be taking a Kahoot quiz! This keeps them on track with their learning, allows me to gauge their understanding, and provides and excellent way for the kids to interact with each other!

This is the first class in a series of three. Your learner can take these classes in any order.
