Earth Science for Middle School: Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography & Astronomy
Class experience
In this 16 week class, we will study major topics in earth science including geology, meteorology, oceanography, and astronomy. We will learn about topics including the layers of the earth, weather, ocean layers, and the solar system. I teach in a very interactive style. I like to ask questions and involve students in discussion. Students are never required to answer questions, only as they are comfortable. I use google slides, short video clips and Kahoot review games in each class. I will...

I have been teaching and studying these science topics for the past 8 years both in person and online. I have taught science at our homeschool coop in past. I have been teaching science on outschool for the last 3 years. I am very interested in many science topics including extreme weather, natural disasters and the solar system. I love visiting museums, reading books and studying these topics. I have also been teaching after school science classes to students for the last two years.
