Description
Class Experience
At the end of this one-time class, students will be able to count from one to ten n French, how to spell the numbers and whether the number is masculine or feminine.
As a child, I lived in England and attended public school. French as a second language was a required class. I took French lessons from age 11-17 during middle school and high school, and I minored in French at the University of Georgia. After graduating with a degree in Journalism/English with a minor in French, I continued to pursue my French studies. I took an adult course in French from Alliance Francaise under Madame Maria Saporta, Professor. I continue to practice my French and recently read a book in French "Marie Stuart, Le destin francais d'une reine d'Ecosse" about the life of Mary Queen of Scots. I feel very comfortable teaching beginning French and am excited to share my passion.
Practicing after class will help students retain what they have learned in class. There will be a handout with all the numbers and their spellings from which to study.
There will be a hand out to further study after class is finished.
There will be no formal assessment, just answering questions from students if they have any.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will not need any additional materials other than the hand out and the sources that Outschool provides.
