US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Join this exciting lesson!  This one-on-one/private tutoring class, your students will learn simple word problems and counting about the USA Money Coins,  quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, and USA Dollar Bills, $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 using the $ and ¢ symbols. #moneyskills.

We will discuss about the different paper dollar bills,  mystery bills, bills values, coin values, mystery coins, and paper coins, counting the coins, bills and mixed counting (coins & bills).  Student will be ask to answer simple problems questions but not force if they don't feel it.

The covers of the lessons are the following:

1.    Coin Values & Simple Word Problems

 2.   Counting USA Money coins & Solve Simple Word Problems

3.   Dollar Bills Values & Simple world Problems

4.  Counting Dollar Bills $ Solve Simple Word Problems

5.   Mixed Counting (Bills and Coins)


Students will receive handouts  prior the class starts and to be printed out to use in the class.

ESL are welcomed to join this class.

As a teacher, I will guide them in answering questions and others.
In the supply list, you will find what they need for this class.

CLASS REFUND

This is a one time private tutoring class, if your learner misses a class meeting, you are not entitled to a refund. If the learner has not joined  the meeting 10 minutes after the class start time, the meeting is cancelled and no refund, unless you notify the teacher prior to the start of class.  If you joined the class and withdrew in the middle of the class, you are not entitled to a refund.  Teacher is only allowed to wait for 10 minutes before leaving the meeting.

CLASS RECORDING POLICY

I do not share recordings of my classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners enrolled ( many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to see the videos that include their child).  However, you are most welcome to reach me out if you have any particular questions about the class.  I will be glad to help and answer.  You are welcome to sign up and attend my class with your child off screen after I verified as per Outschool Policy.

1. Parents please supervise and assist your child in using the safety scissors for the activity. 2. Google slides are used for the instruction of the lesson and video clips from Youtube as additional resources. I will do screen-sharing. No need to create any accounts.

Greetings!  I am so excited to be teaching your child at Outschool.  I have a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education with emphasis in English, and Physical Education. I was a certified high school teacher in my home country. I have taught a variety of subjects like P.E., Health Education, Arts, Music, Values Education, English in  High School for sixteen years.  I also hold Bachelor Science in Commerce major in Accounting.   I am a Substitute Teacher licensed .  I have been teaching academic subjects in the Elementary from Preschooler, K-5, Special Education, Humanities (Science,  Math, Social Studies, Health), and Special Subjects.  I have a Certificate in Childhood Development Associate (CDA).  I am an online teacher. 

 I love to teach children! My goal is to help every child to develop the love of learning that they will carry with them throughout their life to help them succeed.

I like my class sizes small so learners can engage and participate more.

  My teaching style, I am kind, patient, understanding and considerate.  I engage my students in different activities while having fun and learning.  I like to use music, google slides, visual aids, pictures, props, video clips and games to make the lesson more fun to learn.  My classroom is a place of nurturing, fun, and safe.

 I  am Multilingual. I speak  English, Filipino and a little Spanish language. I like to travel, read books, writing journal, storytelling, arts/crafts, exercise, cook, walk in nature and spend time with my loved ones.

I offer variety of classes for different ages here on Outschool. I am looking forward to see your child in my classroom!
