In this one time class, students will practice counting U.S. money, including (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, $1, $5, $10 and $20, $50 and $100.) Students will also practice buying things in our 'pretend store' (#academic) (#confidence)

Class experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner Level
Students will practice money recognition and how to add and subtract money when paying for things. This information will be reinforced throughout the lesson using pictures, games, songs and worksheets.  
Parental guidance is not needed, but welcomed to sit in on classes.
Homework Offered
Students will not have any homework for this class.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will continually be assessing my students throughout each class. I also enjoy asking students different questions so I know they are understanding the material.
Grades Offered
Students may bring paper, pens, quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies, $1, $5, $10 and $20 dollar bills.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance is not needed, but welcomed to sit in on classes.
   I use interactive power point slides, games, and rewards.
