We will read about and discuss the Winter Solstice and use context clues to learn new vocabulary (Learners will be asked to read). This is a discussion-based class that relies on participation and enthusiasm.

The Sun's Path in the Sky
Ancient Celebrations (Stonehenge, Saturnalia)
