The Case of the Missing iPad (Ages 11-13)
Class experience
In this course, learners will receive their "case file" beforehand and come to class ready to work with their team of detectives to solve the mystery of the missing Chromebook. Learners will be able to take notes (and are encouraged to) for areas that they think should be investigated (and please, parents- let your learners work on it. Students will improve their critical thinking skills, work together, and have fun solving a fake "true crime" case.
A handout/"case file" will be provided before the start of class. The handout does not need to be printed out but can be if that will help your learner. Something to write with or make notes with is encouraged as well, as learners will be getting information as they investigate the case.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Though this is a true crime class, there will be no violent material. I am building a crime myself and it will be readily available for parents to read before class starts.
