Over the last eight years, I have taught Criminal Justice classes to students from ages 13-18. This class will help educate older students that are considering the field of Law Enforcement. We will cover the process of getting hired, the police academy, the ranks within a department, job opportunities, words of wisdom, and much more. I will also tell you about a couple of calls I responded to during my twenty-six year law enforcement career, such as: Accidents, SWAT Team responses, funny calls, and more. We will also talk about what students know and want from this career. There will be a question and answer session at the end so hopefully you will get a basic understanding of what this career entails. Also, If you are interested, I have an ongoing Police Academy class that is taught every Sunday evening August-March. This is a great place to pick up more education. For more information on this, please visit my Outschool page.
